About the role

Join an established Auckland data centre and help keep mission-critical infrastructure operating 24/7.
This hands-on role is ideal for engineers from 24/7 operational environments who enjoy troubleshooting, working with large industrial plant and solving technical problems. You'll receive comprehensive training and gain exposure to electrical, mechanical and building services systems within a fast-growing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC, cooling, power and building systems
• Monitor BMS/EPMS and respond to alarms and faults
• Troubleshoot equipment and support incident response
• Coordinate contractors and maintain engineering records
• Help ensure the facility operates safely and reliably 24/7
  
  

Skills & experience

We’re seeking experience maintaining critical infrastructure within a 24/7 operational environment.

We're keen to hear from Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Facilities Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, Building Services Engineers, HVAC/Refrigeration Engineers, or engineers from manufacturing, hospitals, power generation, utilities, marine or other critical infrastructure sectors.

You'll also bring:

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills (EST registration advantageous)
• A commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour day/night roster with paid on-call
• NZ Citizenship preferred due to site security requirements
