GIS Analyst | Spatial & Data | QGIS Focus
 

We’re working with a team where GIS will play a central role in how projects are delivered, not just a support function.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working across both spatial and data within a multi-discipline consultancy focusing on LD.
You’ll be using QGIS day to day, but also getting into the detail of data quality, analysis, and supporting digital workflows across projects.

 

If you’ve got a strong GIS foundation and enjoy working with data, this is a good step into a more well-rounded digital delivery environment.

The role

  • Work across spatial data using QGIS and other GIS platforms
  • Clean, structure, and analyse datasets to support project delivery
  • Produce accurate maps, outputs, and insights
  • Support data workflows across multiple projects
  • Work within Common Data Environments and digital delivery systems (ie 12d Synergy, ACC)
  • Collaborate with surveying, engineering, and planning teams
About you

  • Solid experience using QGIS in a professional setting
  • Strong data handling and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with large or complex datasets
  • Good understanding of spatial data structures and QA processes
  • Exposure to CDE environments is a strong advantage
  • Experience with .Net or development is a bonus, not essential
  • Surveying background or understanding of survey workflows is a big plus
  • Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Exposure to Power BI is a nice to have, not a must
