Data Engineer | Modern Azure Stack | Auckland A well-known New Zealand organisation is undertaking a full rebuild of its consumer web and application stack.
To support it, they're hiring an
intermediate Data Engineer with hands-on exposure to modern cloud data platforms.
What you'll do- Build and orchestrate data pipelines from source systems into a modern Azure data platform
- Structure data so it's accessible to analysts, data scientists and business users
- Partner with data owners to keep quality high
- Surface insights on customers, sales and trends, and support ML work
What we're looking for- ~3+ years as a data engineer
- Exposure to modern cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
- Strong SQL and Python
- ETL/ELT experience and a working knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau
- Clear communicator who can hold their own with senior stakeholders
