Licensed Cadastral Surveyor | Survey Technician - South Island

About the Role

You’ll work across a wide range of urban development, infrastructure, and land projects - from master-planned communities to major transport and commercial developments.
Expect exposure to digital data capture, collaboration, drone integration, and early-stage AI workflows that are reshaping how projects are delivered.

• Work with industry-leading tools: 12d, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Leica, Trimble, and more

About You

• 3–10+ years’ experience in cadastral and/or engineering surveying (NZ, AUS, UK)
• BSurv or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, or a Survey Technician of all levels
• Member or eligible member of Survey & Spatial NZ (S+SNZ) a plus
• Proficient in 12d, CAD/Civil 3D, ideally with modern data workflows
• Strong communicator with experience managing client relationships
• Accurate, reliable, and confident working independently
• NZ citizen or resident with a full NZ driver’s licence

• Intermediate Surveyor: $85k/$95k
• Survey Technician (up to 5 yrs exp): $95k/110k
• Senior Survey Technician (5yrs + exp): $100k/$140k
