The Kerikeri office is a small, close-knit team working across engineering civil, geology, geophysics, and environmental services. With a solid pipeline of work and national support behind it, the team offers both stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful local impact.
About the Role:
Based in Kerikeri, this role offers the opportunity to work in the beautiful Far North. You’ll take ownership of projects from initial client engagement through to design delivery, becoming a key point of contact for both technical and client enquiries.
The work is varied and hands on, covering subdivisions, roading, stormwater, and infrastructure design. You’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, while still being supported by a wider national civil team. This is well suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, contributing ideas, and working in an environment where your input is valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects from client engagement through to design and delivery
- Act as a key contact for clients and technical queries in the region
- Deliver civil design across land development and infrastructure projects
- Undertake site inspections and provide construction support where required
- Collaborate with wider technical teams across multiple offices
- Contribute to strengthening and growing the local client base
Skills & Experience What we’re looking for:- BE (Civil) or equivalent
- 6+ years’ experience within a New Zealand consultancy
- Experience across civil design, ideally within land development or infrastructure
- Experienced in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of NZ standards and consenting processes
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with clients and teams
- Full or restricted NZ driver’s licence
