With three or more years of work still ahead on the current phase, and our client actively building their regional presence, this is not a stop-gap role.

The Role Our client is a specialist surveying firm growing its Otago operation, and they need a Senior Surveyor to join the project full-time. You'll work alongside an experienced site manager, with a clear path to step into a 2IC role as the business grows and the manager focuses on regional development.

What You'll Be Doing- Construction survey support across a large-scale, multi-building hospital development
- Setting out, as-builts, monitoring, and control network establishment
- Working alongside the site manager with a view to stepping into 2IC
- Contributing to a growing Otago surveying operation
What You'll Bring- 5+ years in construction or engineering surveying
- Confidence running survey control and complex set-out on large builds
- Strong proficiency with modern total station and GNSS equipment
- A practical, solutions-focused attitude on site
- NZ residency or valid work visa
Intermediate surveyors with strong construction experience are also encouraged to apply - a separate role at that level is also available on this project.
