The Role:

This is an opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to take on a key role within a high-performing team, contributing across investigation, design, and project delivery.
You’ll be involved in a diverse range of projects spanning infrastructure, transport, and large-scale land development, with the scope to step into greater technical leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to further develop both your technical and project management capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage geotechnical site investigations and data collection
  • Undertake geotechnical analysis and design across foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability
  • Develop ground models, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Prepare interpretative and design reports
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationshipsjunior engineers
  • Contribute to project delivery, programme management, and commercial outcomes
  • Mentor and support 
What We Are Looking For
  • BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • ~5+ years’ experience within a geotechnical consulting environment
  • Strong technical capability across investigation, analysis, and design
  • Experience delivering projects and engaging with clients
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Full NZ driver’s licence
Highly regarded:
  • Postgraduate qualification in geotechnical engineering
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior staff
  • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or land development projects
  • Strong commercial awareness
