Structural Team Lead | AucklandWe’re after a Structural Team Lead to guide a talented engineering team and help deliver practical, high-quality structural solutions across a range of projects in New Zealand.
We work with clients to deliver fit-for-purpose civil and structural engineering that focuses on long-term value, clear communication, and real outcomes for asset owners and communities. Our approach is collaborative, pragmatic, and grounded in understanding client needs and risk across the full lifecycle of infrastructure assets.
What you’ll do:- Lead and mentor a structural engineering team
- Review and check structural designs, calculations, and reports
- Ensure technical work meets NZ standards and quality expectations
- Support project delivery, budgets, and timeframes
- Build strong working relationships with clients, project teams, and stakeholders
- Help improve processes and share knowledge across the team
About you:- 8+ years structural engineering experience (NZ experience preferred)
- Strong technical judgement and design review skills
- Experience with steel, concrete, and seismic design considerations
- Comfortable leading and developing others
- Good communicator with practical problem-solving skills
- Chartered or working toward Chartered status
