About the opportunity:

This is a fantastic role that will suit someone who is outcome-focused, enjoys a challenge, and is able to take initiative whilst building great relationships with the team and stakeholders. A strong pipeline of projects is available to work on in the region. 

Responsibilities:
Oversee and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports on construction progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
Utilise 12D software to create comprehensive civil engineering designs and drawings.
Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative solutions for project challenges.
Conduct compaction verification tests and ensure that soil compaction meets project requirements.
Provide recommendations for adjustments to achieve optimal compaction results.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in New Zealand.
Proficiency in 12D design software and other relevant engineering tools.
Strong knowledge of construction monitoring, reporting, and compaction verification processes.
