About the role

Perfect role if you have a passion for working with people and systems, and enjoy being involved in a portfolio of projects. This role is key to understanding  customer ecommerce objectives and requirements, identifying the appropriate solutions, and project manage the implementation through to a successful end result.
Your relationship skills are legendary with decision-makers and you’re a magician in uncovering new opportunities to help their businesses deliver on their eCommerce initiatives and goals.


• Craft an eCommerce strategy roadmap that unlocks the client's digital potential.
• Take ownership of all client engagements, encompassing major projects and continuous support services.
• Spearhead service initiatives including upselling, cross-selling, and service renewals.
• Innovatively deepen client relationships by introducing tailored strategies and fostering innovation.
• Collaborate directly with our delivery team (comprising developers & designers) to ensure impeccable client delivery, overseeing all engagement processes.
• Professionally manage escalations and negotiations with clients when necessary.
• Devise inventive methods to enhance client relationships and expand business opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry dynamics, competitive landscapes, and potential business risks, proactively taking measures to mitigate them.
• Foster strategic partnerships with key allies like Shopify and BigCommerce to continually deliver value to clients.
• Stay informed about platform updates, new features, and future developments, leading discussions on technology adoption and innovation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the account management team through coaching and mentorship.

What you need?
  • Extensive experience in using data analytical tools to perform diagnostic analysis, mine data for patterns and trends for e-Commerce, and leverage data visualization tools to convey strategic insights in a compelling manner to influence decision-making within the organization.
  • Solid understanding of modern web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, UX/UI Design
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a similar role within a Digital Agency managing multiple website projects in parallel for medium-large sized clients.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally with local and global teams. and maintain good relationships with stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento.
  • Self-motivated and enjoys driving results and growing relationships
