Job description

We are looking for an insurance professional to join this privately owned and well-established Insurance & Mortgage Brokers financial services firm on Auckland’s North Shore!

Our client has been in business for more than 40 years providing personal, medical, lending and specialist insurance products across New Zealand. They believe in building long term relationships with their clients, lenders and insurers and provide expert knowledge with a personalised and professional approach.

They are owned and managed by the Directors, they have incredible retention and career progression opportunities, and they are on the hunt for a new Group Scheme Advisor to join the team!


The role:
This newly created Group Scheme Advisor role will be supporting across all thing’s life and health. Reporting into the senior leadership team and Directors, this role is moving into a stable desk of group scheme accounts with huge opportunity to grow this vertical.  

You will be the point of call to existing clients and establish relationships that understand your clients' risk profiles and cover options, and then engage with insurers to secure them the best deal.

This role is full of networking, building business and presenting but also has a high level of administration needed to keep the wheels turning!


Key Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 5 certified
  • Prior experienced working within life and health a must
  • You will bring a comprehensive knowledge of health insurance at a broader scale
  • Capable of working at pace, effective autonomously working but also capable in a team environment
  • You will be a true professional, engaging, respectful and full of credible knowledge
