About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. In this role, you will assist with the implementation, support, and maintenance of their network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will play a critical part in ensuring seamless connectivity, network reliability, and high performance in a growing enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, maintain, and support LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-based network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues, escalating when necessary.
- Assist in the implementation of network upgrades and infrastructure projects.
- Perform routine network health checks and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, network topologies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to support ongoing operations and project initiatives.
- Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule.
Skills & Experience- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a network engineering or support role.
- Proficiency with network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, or similar network equipment.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network segmentation.
- Exposure to cloud networking (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
