Project Administrator (Part-Time)

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented administrator with a passion for keeping projects running smoothly?
We’re working with a well known project management consultancy based in Auckland that delivers complex commercial projects across healthcare, tourism, retail, office, and entertainment sectors. Known for their hands-on approach and ability to simplify complexity, this team consistently delivers exceptional outcomes.
They are now seeking a Project Administrator to join their close-knit Auckland CBD team on a part-time basis, ideally workig 9am - 3pm daily. 
This is a key support role working directly with senior leadership and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Our ideal candidate has previous project administration experience across enginerring, construction and/or architecture industries. 

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to senior leadership and project teams
  • Preparing, formatting, and editing documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Coordinating and maintaining project documentation and registers
  • Assisting with scheduling meetings, workshops, and site visits
  • Supporting project tracking and reporting activities
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Using platforms like Procore and Aconex for document control (experience advantageous)
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a project admin or team support role (construction/engineering/architecture sector experience is a bonus)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office—especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous use of Procore, Aconex, or similar systems (desirable)
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a proactive mindset
  • Commitment to team culture 
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
