About you: You will ideally be an experienced and qualified Project Manager, with specific expertise in Construction & infrastructure. Your excellent communication and relationship management skills will be vital in your day-to-day dealings with project teams, consultants, contractors, key stakeholders, community groups, and the public.
As a Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to lead and manage allocated projects; Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects as they travel through their lifecycle. You will need to be a self-starter that learns quickly and takes the initiative, you will need to be customer focussed and bring energy to the team.
Specifically, you will have;- Relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering or Project Management)
- Minimum of 5+ years’ industry experience, ideally within NZ
- Project Management Certification (PMI, Prince 2, or similar) – desirable
- A clean full driver’s license.
- Have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Experience in managing contracts within the civil engineering industry and a sound understanding of NZS3910 and NZS3916
- Construction and infrastructure experience
- Impeccable communication skills, be it with colleagues, clients, or contractors.
