Senior Surveyor / Team Leader 

Senior technical responsibility, hands on project work, and the chance to support a growing regional team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Surveyor to step into a Senior Surveyor role with a clear team leadership component, supporting the Branch Manager and contributing to the continued growth of a well established, multi disciplinary consultancy in Cromwell.
The business delivers a steady pipeline of land development, cadastral, and infrastructure projects across Central Otago and operates with a strong local presence backed by wider regional support.

About the Role:
You will work closely with the Branch Manager to deliver projects, support junior staff, and help maintain high technical standards across the team. This is a hands on role where you will remain actively involved in project delivery while providing guidance and leadership to others.
The role offers variety across field and office work and exposure to a broad mix of regional projects.
• Deliver cadastral and land development projects across Central Otago
• Support the Branch Manager with day to day technical leadership
• Provide mentoring and guidance to surveyors and technicians
• Coordinate work allocation and assist with project delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local stakeholders
• Work with modern survey tools including 12d, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Leica, and Trimble

About You:
• Experienced Surveyor with strong New Zealand project delivery experience
• Background in cadastral and land development surveying
• Comfortable providing guidance and support to junior staff
• Confident working independently and managing your own workload
• Strong communicator with a practical, team focused approach
• NZ citizen or resident with a full NZ driver’s licence
