An opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Accountant to lead the Corporate Reporting function. This role combines technical depth with strategic influence — ensuring robust statutory reporting, financial integrity, and strong business partnering across the organisation.

Non-Negotiables- Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ or equivalent).
- 5+ years’ experience across financial and management reporting.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring finance professionals.
- Strong statutory reporting and external audit management experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
- Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards and legislative frameworks.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including at senior leadership level.
Desirables- Local government or wider public sector experience. Happy to consider private or CA environments with the right motivations.
- Exposure to infrastructure accounting and asset management frameworks.
- Experience contributing to multi-year financial strategies (e.g. Long Term Plans).
- Track record of strengthening internal controls and driving process improvement.
- Understanding of public sector governance environments.
