Geotechnical Manager

The Role:

NZ-Owned Engineering Consultancy currently seeking highly skilled candidates with strong interpersonal capabilities for a leadership position. This role has a unique blend of responsibilities encompassing client management, project leadership, and technical oversight. In addition to project-related responsibilities, this position entails involvement in office activities such as proposals, client communications, billing, and serving as the go-to person for client projects. This role is based in Warkworth, with the territory extending from the Upper North Shore to the Auckland border north of Wellsford.

About you:
  • Demonstrated initiative and confidence in decision-making.
  • Astute project management and client liaison skills.
  • Motivation to engage with stakeholders across the region.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in a New Zealand consultancy with a strong working knowledge of NZ Standards.
  • CPEng or PEngGeol preferred. 
  • Proven project management and report writing experience.
  • Works well as part of a team with strong communication skills.
