Non-Negotiables
- Licensing: Must be a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (LCS) as recognised by Survey and Spatial New Zealand (S+SNZ) and the Cadastral Survey Licensing Board of New Zealand (CSLB).
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in cadastral surveying and/or civil engineering related to land development.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with surveying software such as 12d, AutoCAD, Landonline, and GNSS/Total Station equipment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of New Zealand land transfer and survey systems, including LINZ and Cadastral Survey Rules 2021.
Desirables
- Resource Management Act (RMA) Experience: Familiarity with the resource consenting process under the RMA.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in managing multi-disciplinary land development projects and leading teams.
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Civil 3D and other relevant engineering design software.
