Principal Planner – Auckland

Shape major land use, infrastructure, and environmental outcomes across New Zealand.

Non-Negotiables
  • At least 10 years of experience in planning, with a strong foundation in RMA policy and consenting.
  • Proven ability to lead client relationships and manage multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in planning, resource management, or a related field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the RMA and relevant national policy statements.
Desirables
  • Experience in major infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
  • Familiarity with the fast-evolving policy landscape, including the RM reform.
  • Leadership experience or a desire to take on a mentoring role.
  • Strong networks within Auckland or across the upper North Island.
