The Role:

As a Stormwater Principal Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding network projects and providing technical expertise to address complex issues. Working in Petone, Wellington, you'll collaborate closely with a passionate team of water engineering professionals to achieve service goals in stormwater, wastewater, and drinking water.

What you will bring for success:

• Supervise large-scale, complex projects
• Lead the creation of innovative master plans and catchment plans
• Develop environmentally sound and sustainable solutions
• Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues
• Collaborate with client councils to advise on stormwater requirements

• BE or Diploma in Engineering (preferably civil or environmental engineering)
• Background in asset management
• Strong technical knowledge in stormwater engineering, climate change resilience, and adaptation
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems
• Understanding of stormwater modelling processes
