They are seeking to appoint an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to work on a wide range of construction projects, predominately on the client-side.

You will ideally have around 10-15 years experience with a significant portion of this working in the New Zealand civil construction industry on large-scale civil projects. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

The work will be a mix of project budget estimating, ECI and negotiation work with contractors on behalf of clients and design cost interface.

The role requires a good balance of understanding cost, but also understanding the resources required to construct projects, programme, etc. and as such will suit a hands-on QS that can price.

This company has a hand in some of the largest infrastructure work currently underway in New Zealand and offers an excellent flexible working balance, with only 40 hours a week required for this role and work from home options.
